THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO JOHN
Chapter 10
“Verily,
verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold,
but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.” (Verse 1)
Almighty Lord Jehovah God, I cry out to Thee,
begging Thee to save me from being a spiritual thief and robber. I beg Thee to
protect me from religious people who are spiritual thieves and robbers. Lord
Jesus, I desire to be one of Thy sheep. Please lead me and guide me to enter
into Thy Sheepfold by The Door. Save me from the vanity of attempting to climb
up to Heaven by some other way.
“But
he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.” (Verse 2)
Lord
Jesus Christ, I confess that Thou art the One True Shepherd of Almighty God’s
sheep. I worship Thee as God’s True Shepherd. Please be my Shepherd. Please
choose me to be one of Thy sheep.
“To
him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own
sheep by name, and leadeth them out.” (Verse
3)
Lord
Jesus, I confess that the Porter openeth unto Thee. Please teach me Who the
Porter is. I desire to be Thy sheep, Lord Jesus. Please speak to me and cause
me to hear Thy Voice. Please call me by my name. Please lead me out, and always
lead me in paths of righteousness for Thy Name’s Sake.
“And
when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow
him: for they know his voice.” (Verse 4)
Lord Jesus Christ, please put me forth as Thy own
sheep. Please go before me. Please enable me to follow Thee perfectly. Please
enable me to perfectly know Thy Precious Voice, and please create within me a
strong will and a desire to always perfectly follow Thy Voice.
“And
a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the
voice of strangers.” (Verse 5)
Lord Jesus, please protect me from following any
stranger. Please cause me to flee from strangers. Save me from ever being
deceived by the voice of a stranger.
“This
parable spake Je’sus unto them: but they understood not what things they were
which he spake unto them.” (Verse 6)
Abba
Father, I desperately cry unto Thee to show great mercy unto my to give me full
understanding of all the things Thou dost speak to me through Thy Holy Spirit.
Lord Jesus, please grant me full understanding of all the things Thou dost
speak to me thru God’s Holy Spirit. Please save me from the disaster of being
void of understanding of the spiritual things Thou hast ordained I should
know.
“Then
said Je’sus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you,
I am the door of the sheep.” (Verse 7)
Lord
Jesus Christ, I confess that Thou art the Door of the sheep. I worship Thee as
the Door of the sheep. I confess that I am one of Thy sheep.
“All
that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear
them.” (Verse 8)
Lord Jesus, please teach me clearly just who are the
thieves and robbers. Protect me and save me from hearing and listening to the
thieves and robbers. Save me from being deceived by such counterfeits who would
rob me of the eternal riches that are in Christ Jesus.
“I am
the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and
out, and find pasture.” (Verse 9)
Heavenly Father I confess that the Lord Jesus Christ
is the Door. Lord Jesus, I worship Thee as the Door. I desire to enter in by
Thee, Lord Jesus. I desire to be saved eternally by Thee. I desire to go in and
out, and to find pasture. Please grant me these desires of my heart, for my
eternal benefit and for Thy Great Glory.
“The
thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that
they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (Verse 10)
Almighty
Lord God on High, I cry unto Thee to destroy the works of the thieves. Stop
them from stealing. Stop them from killing. Stop them from destroying. Lord
Jesus Christ, I confess that Thou didst come that we might have life and have
life more abundantly. Please give me life, life more abundantly, blessed,
joyful life that never, ever ends.
“I am
the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” (Verse 11)
Lord
Jesus Christ, I confess that Thou art The Good Shepherd. I fervently worship
Thee as The Good Shepherd. Please be my Good Shepherd. Please make me one of
Thy sheep. I confess that Thou didst give Thy Life for me. I love Thee for
dying for me. Please guide and help me to fully give my life to Thee and to
wholly live my life for Thee. Please make me totally willing to give my life
for Thee.
“But
he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not,
seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth
them, and scattereth the sheep.” (Verse
12)
Lord Jesus Christ, please guard and protect all Thy
sheep from religious hirelings. Please guard and protect all Thy sheep from the
many wolves that desire to catch, scatter, and destroy Thy sheep.
“The
hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.” (Verse 13)
Lord Jesus, please make me into one of Thy under
shepherds, a Christian believer who truly cares for Thy sheep and who in
accordance to Thy Will watches over and guards Thy flock, always doing my
utmost to take care of Thy sheep.
“I am
the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.” (Verse 14)
Lord
Jesus Christ, I worship Thee as The Good Shepherd. I confess that Thou doest
know Thy Sheep. I desire to know Thee fully as one of Thy sheep. Please impart
to me a full spiritual knowledge of my Good Shepherd.
“As
the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for
the sheep.” (Verse 15)
Our
Father which art in Heaven, I confess that Thou doest fully know Thy Son, The
Lord Jesus Christ. I confess that The Lord Jesus Christ doeth fully know Thee,
God the Father. Heavenly Father, I desire to know Thee to the fullest extent
possible. I desire to know the Lord Jesus Christ to the fullest extent
possible. Please grant these desires of mine heart. I confess that The Lord
Jesus Christ laid down His Life for the sheep. I thank and praise Thee, Lord
Jesus, for dying for me. I confess that I am Thy sheep. Please guide me to lay
down my life for Thee, my Precious Lord and God.
“And
other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and
they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.” (Verse 16)
Lord Jesus, who are these other sheep? When didst
Thou, or when wilt Thou bring them, and make all Thy sheep into one fold? I
pray that all Thy sheep will always hear and obey Thy Voice. Please enable me
to always perfectly follow the Good Shepherd.
“Therefore
doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it
again.” (Verse 17)
Heavenly Father, I confess that Thou doest love Thy
Son, Jesus Christ, because He lay down His Life, that He might take it again.
Lord Jesus, thank Thee for laying down Thy Life for me. Please help me to fully
lay down my life and my all for my Creator God. I am Thine, O Lord Jesus.
“No
man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it
down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my
Father. (Verse 18)
My
Precious Lord Jesus, I confess that no man took Thy Life from Thee. I confess
that Thou didst lay it down of Thyself and that Thou didst most willingly and
lovingly lay down Thy Life for my life’s sake. I love Thee for doing that for
me. Thus I can live forever by trusting in Thee as my Eternal Life. Please help
me to fully lay down my life for Thee. I confess that Thou hast power to take
up Thy Life again. I confess that Thou didst receive this commandment of Thy
Father. Please teach me all of Thy commandments I should know. Enable me to
obey them all.
“There
was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.” (Verse 19)
Almighty
Lord Jehovah God, please reveal fully to me just what a great Divider of
mankind is this man named Jesus. Please impart unto me full knowledge and
assurance that He is The Lord Jesus Christ, Almighty God the Son, the Eternal
God. Convince me that Jesus is always perfect. Convince me that no one can find
any fault in Jesus. Throughout my life on earth, tho I behold much intense
division over Jesus, please ground me firmly in Thy Divine Truth concerning
Jesus so that I will never waver, doubt, nor be offended about anything
concerning The Lord Jesus Christ. I pray I will ever be on the Lord’s side and
ever stand boldly with my Precious Lord Jesus Christ against all souls who
oppose Jesus in any way at all. I love Thee, Lord Jesus.
“And
many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?” (Verse 20)
Lord
Jesus, I confess that Thou dost not have a devil. I confess that Thou art not
mad. I confess that forever Thou hast been and will be Good, Perfect, True, and
Upright. I confess that I am most desirous to hear Thee, Lord Jesus Christ,
because all souls who do not hear Thee perish eternally. So, Lord Jesus Christ,
I cry unto Thee to speak unto me all of God’s Truth concerning salvation and
eternal life. And please give me a heart to receive and believe all these
words. I am listening for Thy Precious Voice, Lord Jesus.
“Others
said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the
eyes of the blind?” (Verse 21)
Lord
Jesus Christ, please impart unto me a clear understanding and discernment of
all of God’s Works that God has made available for me to observe. Also, please
teach me what works are of the devil. By Thy Holy Spirit, please clearly warn
me of the devil’s works and deception. Save me from the grave error of ever
confusing God’s Works with the devil’s works. Please give me perfect spiritual
discernment from God.
“And
it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.” (Verse 22)
“And
Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch.” (Verse 23)
“Then
came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to
doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.” (Verse 24)
Heavenly Father, please save me from ever doubting
that Jesus is the Christ of God. Precious Lord Jesus, I now confess to the
Godhead and to all Thy great creation, that Thou art the Christ of God, God the
Son, Jehovah God, The King of Kings, The Lord of Lords, and my all.
“Jesus
answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the
works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.” (Verse 25)
Lord
Jesus, please show great mercy unto me to save me from the awful sin of ever
doubting Thee. Create within me a heart that readily believes everything that
Thou dost speak unto me. I confess that all the works Thou didst in Thy
Father’s Name bear witness of Thee, and that their witness is true. I confess
that Thou art Perfect, Precious Jesus, and that all souls of mankind should
believe on Thee.
“But
ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.” (Verse 26)
Lord Jesus Christ, I earnestly desire to be one of
Thy sheep. I desire to believe all Thy Words. Please perfect these desires within
me and grant them unto me according to Thy Divine Will for my life.
“My
sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:” (Verse 27)
Lord Jesus, please cause me to hear Thy Voice.
Please know me as Thy Own sheep. Please cause me to follow Thee perfectly. I
belong Jesus. Jesus belongs to me. What eternal joy that is. Glory!
“And
I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any
man pluck them out of my hand.” (Verse
28)
Lord
Jesus Christ, please give unto me eternal life. Please save me with Almighty
God’s eternal salvation so that I shall never perish. Please guard over me so
that no man ever plucks me out of Thy Hand.
“My
Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck
them out of my Father’s hand.” (Verse 29)
Our Father which art in Heaven, please give me unto
the Lord Jesus Christ. I confess that Thou art greater than all. Please keep me
safely in Thy Hand, so that no one can ever pluck me out of Thy Hand.
“I
and my Father are one.” (Verse 30)
Lord Jesus Christ, I confess that Thou art one with
God the Father. I worship Thee as the True, Almighty God.
“Then
the Jews took up stones again to stone him.” (Verse 31)
Lord Jesus, I confess that I am on Thy Side. I
confess that I do not oppose Thee in any way at all. I confess that all Thy
Deeds are Perfect. I worship Thee as my Creator; the One True Living God Who is
Perfect. Please keep me faithfully trusting in Thee thru out all my life on
earth. Save me from ever being offended by Thee. Enable me to ever make Thee my
1st and foremost Love, Pride, and Joy. I fervently worship Thee as
the Stone of stumbling and Rock of offence that Thou art. So do save me from
ever being offended by Thee and from ever stumbling over Thee.
“Jesus
answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from
my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?” (Verse 32)
Lord Jesus Christ, please show me all the many good
works from God the Father that Thou hast ordained that I should see during my
life on earth.
“The
Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for
blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.” (Verse 33)
Lord
Jesus Christ, I confess that Thou hast never blasphemed. I confess that Thou
art God the Word, God the Son, Who became flesh (man) and dwelt amongst us on
this earth.
“Jesus
answered them, Is it not written in your law, I SAID,
YE ARE GODS?” (Verse 34)
Almighty
Lord Jehovah God, please save me from the sin of rising up out of my
God-ordained estate and making myself into a god. Save me from the sin of
usurping God’s Authority. Save me from endeavoring to rule over men’s souls.
Please enable me to properly humble myself before Almighty God and before
mankind.
“If
he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot
be broken;” (Verse 35)
Heavenly
Father, please save me from ever attempting to break apart Thy Holy Scriptures.
Please send all Thy word unto me. Enable me to believe and obey all Thy
words.
“Say
ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou
blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?” (Verse 36)
Almighty
Lord God on High, I fervently thank and praise Thee for firmly convincing me
that the man Jesus is the Christ, The Son of God. I worship Thee, Lord Jesus,
as the Son of God. I confess that God the Father didst sanctify Thee, Lord
Jesus, and didst send Thee into the world. Heavenly Father, please help me
right now to fully yield myself to Thee, My Creator God, for the express purpose
of Thee sanctifying me likewise and sending me into the world likewise. Please
send me everywhere to tell everyone I can that the Lord Jesus Christ now stands
as the Saviour of the world to save anyone who will come unto Him for
salvation.
“If I
do not the works of my Father, believe me not.” (Verse
37)
Lord Jesus Christ, I confess that, of an Absolute
Truth, Thou doest perfectly the Works of God the Father in Heaven. I confess
that all souls should believe all Thy Words and should believe on Thee as their
God and Saviour. I proudly confess that I believe on Thee as my Creator God and
my Saviour, my All.
“But
if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and
believe, that the Father is in me, and I in Him.” (Verse 38)
Lord
Jesus Christ, I confess that Thou dost the Works of Almighty God the Father. I
confess that I fully believe Thee, Lord Jesus. I fully believe all Thy Words. I
fully believe all Thy Works. I confess that I know of a surety that Thou art
God the Son. I believe that God the Father is in Thee, and that Thou art in God
the Father. I strongly desire for Almighty God to be in me, in my life, totally
controlling me, ruling and reigning in my being for God’s Glory. Grant my
desire, I pray.
“Therefore
they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand,” (Verse 39)
Lord Jesus, I confess that Thou art God Almighty.
Thou art always triumphant and victorious over man and all other created
beings. I worship Thee as my Victor and my Victory. I praise Thy High and Holy
Name for giving me a victorious life.
“And
went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and
there he abode.” (Verse 40)
“And
many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John
spake of this man were true.” (Verse 41)
Lord
Jesus Christ, I pray that many people now on this earth would resort unto Thee.
Please draw many lost souls unto Thee to be saved. I confess that Thou art
Almighty God Who doeth miracles and Who is Truth.
“And
many believed on him there.” (Verse 42)
Heavenly Father, I now intercede for all the lost souls presently living on this earth. I pray that many lost souls would now believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thus be saved for all eternity. I especially pray that all souls here in my town would believe on Thee, Lord Jesus.
Abba Father, I cry unto Thee, begging Thee to enable
me to yield myself fully to Thee, My Creator God, for the purpose of Thee perfecting
each and every word of John Chapter 10 in my life and in my being. I cry unto
Thee to perfect each and every word of John Chapter 10 into the lives and into
the beings of each and every human soul now living on earth. Please have great
mercy upon us all to grant unto us all great boldness and great faith when we
come unto Thee in prayer.
Our
Father which art in Heaven, I pray all these prayers in this chapter for all
the souls presently alive on earth. I pray all these prayers in the High and Holy
Name of The Lord Jesus Christ. Please think on me for the Precious Lord Jesus’
Name’s Sake, and please hear and answer each and every one of these prayers in
accordance to Thy Divine Will. Thank Thee, Heavenly Father, for hearing me and
answering me. I love Thee, my Dear Lord God.
