“When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt
surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save
his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I
require at thine hand.” (Ezekiel 3:18)
On
Thursday 21 November 2024, I rode fast Bullet Train rails southwest to Oogaki City in Gifu Prefecture to preach in the 7 PM
service at Mino Mission’s Oogaki Bible Church.
From
then thru Monday 9 December, I had the privilege of preaching a total
of 14 times in that church, and the Mino Mission Church in Mie Prefecture, and
in Missionary Pastor Jeff Brigham’s church in Aichi Prefecture. It was a most
bless-ed time of Christian fellowship.
On
Tuesday 10 December, I rode 4 trains, one after the other, to Ibusuki City at the southern tip of Japan, where our Lord
has given me a building of my own in which to lodge, preach and teach. Most of
my preaching in that area is “without
the camp, bearing his reproach”
(Hebrews 13:13).
As I
vocalize the Saving Gospel of Christ in front of my house adjacent to
Nigatsuden Train Station in Ibusuki City in southern
Japan, a policeman on a motorbike patrolling the area is friendly to me. Most
policemen in that area know me well, because when I lift Christ high near a
grammar school, often a parent or teacher calls the police, asking them to stop
me, though all residents of Japan are legally at liberty to do
what I am doing. And it’s the duty of the police to protect my
liberty, not to prevent it, robbing me of it. Anyway, one afternoon,
this friendly cop, begged me so kindly not to go near
Uomi Grammar School, saying that some children were afraid to go to school if I
were around. (They all walk to school, and walk past
me. Those kids liked me MUCH, and hung around me to listen, till
parents and teachers told them, “Avoid him, he is bad,” etc.)
Such
lies made me “dangerous” and “scary” in the minds of small 1st
and 2nd graders. Thus, they became afraid of me. So, those sinful,
lying teachers and parents push the police to shut me down, moaning to the
police that their little ones are in “great” fear. But,
it is the adults’ lies that put the kids in fear. The kind policeman was
somewhat of a sight to behold, taking off his police cap and bowing low to me
as he begged me to stop (a Japanese policeman bowing to a common foreigner like
me, is most rare). He knows that he is duty-bound to protect my
liberty. “Lord, please have mercy on those sinful souls who oppose Christ
by slandering me, Thy servant.”
I
went at public evangelism with all my might in Ibusuki
City till Saturday 21 December, when I rode 3 different trains northeasterly,
over to Aoshima Train Station on the Nichinan Train Line in adjacent Miyazaki Prefecture. This
train line runs along the rugged eastern coast of southern Kyuushuu.
From
21 December 2024 thru 7 January 2025, I lodged in 4 different hotels in the
vicinities of 4 different train stations on Nichinan
Train Line, daily doing outdoor evangelism in the area where I snored each
night. During that time (when I wasn’t snoring), I met a family
of 5 who were unusually receptive and open to me upon 1st sight of
me as I walked up to their house to leave my flyer. I know
not their names. Please pray for their salvation, and for the hundreds
of other souls who saw the flyers I left in their mailboxes, and who heard my
voice proclaiming Christ outdoors. Lord willing, I desire to return to the Nichinan Train Line area this coming winter, to preach the
saving Gospel in areas I found most favorable.
I
was richly blessed to “plough this new ground” along the east coast of Miyazaki
Prefecture, where I had never before set foot.
(Joshua
1:3) “Every place that
the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto
you, as I said unto Moses.”
(I
suppose that people who demand a hyper-strict interpretation of each
word of Scripture, teach that Joshua hopped around on one foot all the time
that he fought a long time with all those kings.) That verse of Scripture is on
my mind as I walk much, carrying precious Gospel Seed into locales in Japan
where I’ve never before trod (with both soles
of both my feet).
On Wednesday
8 January 2025, I returned to my Ibusuki house to preach
as zealously as possible in that area of southern Japan until the end of February.

when one airs on any of the several scheduled stations. May our Lord work powerfully
upon the souls who hear. May lost souls be saved, saved souls be edified,
and God be glorified!

these 2 is a most touching salvation story. Plus, each of those 2
Audio Sermons have some most nice voices (speaking and singing) that will bless
you, in addition to my “old man voice”.
If our Lord leads you to pay to have one or more of those sermons
broadcast on any radio station (particularly your local station), I would greatly
appreciate it. The radio station can broadcast them directly from the audio on
this website. They are short, several of them being 15 minutes or so. The
length of each sermon is written in minutes and seconds next to its title. And
I actually prefer them being played on secular
stations, as opposed to Christian radio stations. I want many lost souls to
hear them, as they are tuned in while driving and such.
