CHRIST IS ALL
Winter (December 2018, January
and February 2019)
Dear Friend in Christ,
Thru
out December and thru January 18th, I preached, sang, and read Scripture out
front of my "mission station" with Nigatsuden
train station and its entrance directly in front of me and its platform just to
my left. Much of the time, people were on the nearby platform waiting for the
next train. Please intercede in prayer for their salvation.
During that time period, some mornings about 7 AM, I walked 80 yards out
to the major intersection, turned left and went 17 yards or so to the corner of
the elementary school ground, stood beside the narrow sidewalk with my back
against the school's fence and sang hymns while holding up a prayer printed in
large letters. Till about 8:10 AM, about 300 people walk by there or pass by on
bicycles, most of them being students, from 1st grade thru 12th, going to 3
different schools (grammar, jr hi, and high school).
They heard and saw how to call on the Saviour of all
the earth to save them. Please pray that they will do so.
Sometimes in the afternoon, I went to 1 of the 3 closest grammar
schools, stood near one gate and did the same as above to the children walking
home from school. Also, I would pass out literature to them in the afternoon. I
don't pass out literature to the elementary kids as they enter school in the
morning, because often teachers will take it from them and throw it away.
Many
days, I delivered Christian literature from door to door. Close to 10 people
came to the "mission station" for English conversation classes. I
rejoice to have those contacts and to make friends that way. They see the
prayers posted on the walls. Please plead with Our Lord to cause them to pray
those prayers from their hearts. On Saturday morning 19 January, I closed up
the "mission station" there in Ibusuki City
and rode trains back to Mino Mission to preach in two of its churches thru
January 27. I also preached once in Brother Jeff Brigham's church near there in
Anjo City. Then on 28 January, I rode the trains on
home to check on my affairs there, change luggage and fly to Memphis, Tennessee
on January 30th. Thank you for praying for safety of travel.
On 2
February, I drove to Navarre, Florida to lodge with good friends there to
preach in home cottage services and a few churches in the area thru 25
February. That was a most blessed and rich time with many dear Christian
friends in that area.
On 26
February, I drove to Keith's house in Byron, Georgia to preach in his church
the following night. February came to an end, making for a most blessed and
fulfilling winter. Thank you for all you did for me during the winter. God
richly bless you for it.
